Types of Teachers
There are many types of degrees. The most common are Master of Arts (MA) and Master of Science (MS).
Master of Arts (MA) – This degree is awarded to students in humanities, social sciences, fine arts and theology. Some MA programs are designed for students to continue their studies after graduation (ie, obtaining a PhD). In general, the degree of two years of full-time study and requires a thesis or an examination (or both).
Master of Science (MS) – This degree is awarded to students studying in the natural sciences, social sciences, business and technology. Several (but not all) of the Member States of the programs are designed for professional titles for students entering the job market instead of continuing further studies. Other Masters are: Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Fine Arts (MFA), Master of Education (MED), Master in Health Administration (MHA), Master of Library Science (MLS), Master of Music (MMus) Master of Public Health (MPH), Master of Philosophy (MPhil), and specialist degrees.
Online Master’s residency requirements
Many graduate programs require online students to watch a certain number of hours a resident to attend lectures on campus.
