Gordon Brown, British Prime Minister, announced that the Open University will receive a massive injection of liquidity from the government to help expand its role as one of the most innovative universities in the United Kingdom.

The data show that nearly 35,000 students in England are leaving school each year, according to the Statistics Agency of Higher Education (Bureau), which represents nearly one of fourteen students.
The project, known as “shared returns” to provide support, assistance and support for students ready to resume their studies, with the notable difference that the learning process is likely to take place entirely online.
Financing Higher Education for England (HEFCE), which is the main funder of the project, estimates that more than 5,000 students who left in the first place, back to higher education under the project.
