UC Irvine Extension Offers’ gifted and talented education seminars free of charge

The University of California at Irvine announced today the availability of the “gifted and talented Education (GATE) seminar on the Open Course Ware (OCW) of the site. UC Irvine OCW initiative encourages the free exchange of knowledge by the learner throughout the world, no matter who and where they are on sight and on the use of the university and hardware resources on the Internet. With a series of UC Irvine Extension of GATE webinars are offered free to teachers, directors, parents and the country have the opportunity to advance their education.
“As teachers and administrators are given the shortage of resources and the staggering of the foot, it was considered the time that this service free of charge,” says Gary W. Matkin, Ph.D., dean of continuing education at UC Irvine. “GATE The seminars allow the participants the knowledge which can be used immediately, or can help them get a new job as a teacher. There are also tools to help parents to identify and satisfy the needs of their gifted children.”
